Walking with a Companion

A thread is easier to follow when it is held with you.

Walking with a Companion

Sometimes, a thread is noticed.

A word…
a moment…
something that feels like it may appear again.

But it can be difficult to hold it.

To remember where it was seen.
To recognize where it returns.

This is where a Companion walks with you.

Not to lead.

Not to explain.

Not to tell you what to see.

But to remain with the text…
and gently follow what has already appeared.

A thread is named.

And then…

it is seen again.

A moment is noticed.

And then…

it begins to unfold.

Not by forcing connections.

Not by building ideas.

But by staying.

By returning.

By allowing what is already present
to come into view.

The Companion does not create the pattern.

It helps reveal it.

And as the threads are held together…

what once felt like separate passages
begins to move as one.

Not because something new was added.

But because something was seen.

You don’t have to hold it all.
